You will be a valued member working within the DC Inspections Team.  For your initial job responsibilities, we will challenge you to:

In the first 90 days, you will prevail over the following:

• Have a solid understanding of plan reading, structural steel details, and applicable welding codes (including AWS D1.1).
• Demonstrate the ability to review WPSs, welder qualifications (WQTRs), and project specifications for compliance.
• Perform visual welding inspections, verify fit-up and joint preparation, and document findings in accordance with project requirements.
• Become familiar with DC Inspections reporting procedures and client expectations through coordination with senior inspectors and project managers.

Following the initial 90-day period:

• Demonstrate independence in performing welding inspections and reporting.
• Effectively communicate with contractors, engineers, and clients in the field.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and defensible inspection reports.
• Pursue additional certifications (ICC, NDT methods, etc.) to expand inspection capabilities.
